Okay, so Catty has the power to read people's minds and is lacking in the ethics to ask first. So this is just a post to ask first if it's okay with you OOCly for her to go rummaging around in your character's head, and secondly, if she would ICly be able to.
Her power is largely unnoticeable, but if she happens to be looking for something, a character might find themselves suddenly thinking about whatever it is she's looking at when they had no reason to before. It should be noted that she can only do this in person.
Please fill out this handy dandy form right here!
Are you okay with Catty trying to read your character's mind? You can put degrees of yes or no here! Like 'yes for surface thoughts, no for deep dark secrets' and that sort of thing. Or if you would prefer me to ask in a given thread instead of given a blanket yes or no, you can note that here, too
If yes, is there anything about your character that would give her difficulty in reading it? This mostly means does your character have other mind powers or training that would make it difficult or impossible for Catty to get in their head.
Thanks guys!

Tazendra's canon would suggest she has some familiarity with physics and mind probes, but she's working without her normal power source so will be unable to do much about them. Zelgadis has nothing much.

Date: 2013-06-01 08:28 pm (UTC)If yes, is there anything about your character that would give her difficulty in reading it? He has a trained mind but no ability with mental shields or anything, so there probably wouldn't be any serious difficulty.

Date: 2013-06-01 08:44 pm (UTC)If yes, is there anything about your character that would give her difficulty in reading it? She would only be able to pick up a few surface thoughts, nothing else. He has very strong resistance to telepathy. If she uses her powers on him more than once he will notice and probably block it out actively after that.

But Lambda's asleep right now and isn't likely to do more than just mess with her when he's awake.

For an indeterminable amount of time in her canon, Rosa has been living at all points in all times across the entire probability space. Also, Rosalind and Robert are the same person from different dimensions. Between the two, her brain has had to adapt to a way of consciousness that's beyond the scope of most people's brains. She knows time as it REALLY is.
So reading her mind is going to result in a very confused and intense torrent of memories from both the past AND the projected future before she wound up on the turtle.

If yes, is there anything about your character that would give her difficulty in reading it? Being an android may affect the whole mind reading process. His brain is a perfect copy of a human brain down to the neurons so he has electrical fire-offs the same as a human brain, but the fact that his brain matter and neurons are not organic may futz with any data.

Are you okay with Catty trying to read your character's mind? Yes; innocuous surface thoughts are fine, but let's handle deeper memories/SECRETSSSS on a case-by-case basis? Since Rioichi here is a ninja thief that's working on establishing a public persona as a sushi chef and I don't want his ~true identity~ to be revealed in ten seconds.
If yes, is there anything about your character that would give her difficulty in reading it? I don't think so! He has zippo in the way of mind powers or any real IC defense against what Catty can do. (because idk if strong mental fortitude and the like would pose any sort of barrier)
